Flipkart Internet Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Flipkart”) is offering a chance play BSD Snakes & Ladders from 20th May, 2016 to 24th May, 2016 (“Offer Period”) wherein You have an opportunity to participate & win rewards (“Reward”) subject to the terms of this Policy mentioned below (“Policy”).
- This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record does not require any physical or digital signatures. Wherever the context so requires “You/Your/Users” shall mean any buyer on the Flipkart Mobile App. “Flipkart”/”We”/”Our” shall mean Flipkart Internet Private Limited.
- There is no fee to participate in this Offer and is free to any Flipkart customer. By participating in this Offer (as defined below), You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other relevant documentation that are available on www.flipkart.com including any modifications, alterations or updates that we make.
- To participate in the Offer,
- You should have the latest updated version of the Flipkart App version (android, windows, iOS) (“App”)
- This Offer is open to all current and new users of the App
- Not supported on desktop, FK lite or on the win10 desktop app
- For any 1st party Offers, you will have to redeem the Offer by purchasing it (at reward price) during the validity period of the offer
- Offer will be void if any User (You or the person with whom product is shared) cancels the order (part or whole). Each Offer might have additional terms & conditions which will apply in addition to those mentioned in this document
- For any 3rd party offers, an email with offer and redemption details will be sent to you
- For playing the game user needs a ‘chance’ / ‘life’ to play 1 round of the game
- Each game is timed & users must finish within that time else the game ends automatically
- The timer starts when user clicks Play
- The timer cannot be paused for any reason. Eg: kill the app, put in background, receive a call or go to some other app, internet connection issue etc.
- All rewards earned in the game are assigned to the User. The User does not need to complete the game to retain these.
- This is a single player game.
- You have to tap the dice to start rolling and moving forward on the game board.
- You need internet connection to play this game.
- You can win rewards in this game by landing on a reward tile.
- Every time you play the game, the game board layout can change.
- You may win 1st party or 3rd party rewards at the sole discretion of Flipkart.
- Reward communication will be sent to You via in-App notifications & emails (if we have it under your account details). There may be a few hours of delay in the reward communication.
- 1st party rewards are assigned to the user’s account and can be seen via:
- My Rewards page: accessed at the game start/end screens
- Under My Accounts > My Rewards (only if the user has won at least 1 reward)
- On a product page of that particular product
- All 1st party rewards are non-transferrable and have dates of applicability and other additional terms and conditions.
- We will also send reminder emails & in-App notifications for 1st party rewards the day or day before they become eligible to be used.
- Rewards will be disbursed via targeted discount for 1st party offers and via email vouchers/coupons for 3rd party offers.
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy.
- Offers are applicable on limited stocks and for Offer Period only.
- Flipkart may, at any time due to various reasons, including but not limited to technical errors, unavailability of stocks or for any other reasons whatsoever, cancel the Orders placed by You. Flipkart shall not be liable for such cancellation(s) whatsoever.
- Buyers are not bound in any way to participate in the Offer and any such participation is voluntary.
- The Offer shall be subject to force majeure events and on occurrence of such an event, the Offer may be withdrawn at the sole discretion of Flipkart.
- In the event of cancellation of an order (Part or full) by You, Flipkart shall be entitled to cancel the Offers at its sole discretion.
- Flipkart reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Offer or violates the Policy or makes malicious use of the offer.
- Flipkart shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising due to participation by any person in the Offer.
- Flipkart reserves the right to change start and end date as well as terms and conditions of the game at its discretion.
- You hereby agree to indemnify and keep Flipkart harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney’s fee) that may be suffered by Flipkart as a consequence of (i) violation of terms of this Policy by You; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in wilful misconduct or negligence on Your part.
- This Policy shall be governed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Courts at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise under this Policy.
- The Offer shall be subject to the Income-Tax Act, 1961 and all disbursements shall be subject to TDS, as applicable.
- All issues / concerns related to the game should be raised within 10 days of completion of this game as we will not keep the data of the user’s activity post that and hence will be unable to debug.
