Drawing a strong line on environmental issues, the Supreme Courton Wednesday banned the sale and registration of Bharat Stage III (BS-III) vehicles from April 1, when BS-IV emission norms will come into force across the country, saying that health of citizens is more important than commercial interests.

After this SC order major brands Hero, Honda, Bajaj, Suzuki start offering big discount up to Rs 22,000 on Bharat Stage (BS)-III models.
As per different reports 8 lakh BS-III vehicles impacted by this ban. So dealers and Brand try to sell this model as soon as possible.
MotoCrop offered discounts up to Rs 12,500 on two-wheelers.
TVS Motor also send instruction Over its 4,000 dealers to sell the remaining stock before 31 March.
Honda Motorcycle said it is offering cash back offer of Rs 22,000 on BS-III-scooters and motorcycles models Activa 3G (priced Rs 50,290), Dream Yuga (Rs 51,741), CB Shine (Rs 55,799 to Rs 61,283) and CD 110DX (Rs 47,202 to Rs 47,494).
Suzuki Motorcycle also offers a discount of Rs 4,000 plus a free helmet, while on Gixxer (Rs 77,452 to Rs 90,421) the benefit is up to Rs 5,000 with exchange benefits of up to Rs 2,000.
